Letting Connascence Degree Drift Without Tracking
Connascence Degree is how many other modules must change when you change one. Two modules are connascent when a change in one forces a change in the other. When Connascence Degree is three, three modules must change together, and every feature pays extra. When it is zero, modules evolve independently.
The decision is to accept a convenient coupling for speed, or to design a clean interface that costs more today but eliminates the tax. If coupling is treated as a one-time design choice, Connascence Degree grows as more modules become entangled. The report already prints that extra as domain coupling.
